Hippocrates (the "Father of Medicine") believed and argued that
disease was the product of environmental factors, diet and living habits. He also said:
“...the natural way is the only way...”
BUT what was natural and organic in his day no longer is.
The reason - as you may already know - is to do with manmade chemicals which are present in the food we eat, the toiletries we use on our skins, the perfume we spray on us, the clothes we wear, household products we use and the air we breath. As time goes by, more and more side-effects of the use of these chemicals are being discovered, some of which are carcinogenic (cancer-causing). Many companies also claim that their products are "natural" or "organic" but when you check the ingredient label of such products the majority of these turn out to contain mainly chemicals and synthetic ingredients.
For that reason many people are now changing their way of life towards a more CERTIFIED organic one. Certified organic toiletries and cosmetics are becoming increasingly available as well as organic feminine care and organic clothes.
DO NOT be trustworthy of “approved” or "safe" chemicals and synthetic ingredients in your cosmetics and toiletries. What governments of certain countries consider safe may well be banned by another.
